Why am I here? Part 3 ~ Worship

When did you first come to the powerfully life-changing conclusion that the Lord Jesus Christ was, indeed, who He said He was, empowering you to pursue that truth daily as a realtionship? Where were you in life at that time and what caused you to drop what you were doing to embrace that moment in time?

You could have been just a child, having known this truth all along and raised properly, or, conversely, you could have been raised in complete ignorance of this and God still made his presence known to you. Perhaps somewhere in between?

Either way, I find it graciously amazing how the curtains are thrown back in such a way that it makes sense to the created from the creator, the eye of the beholder knows full well Who he is looking at. By loving design.

And all along we have been worshippers of "something", yet God's beauty and brilliance shines thru as the replacer of all these other pastimes, redefining them, end eliminating them if need be. When we come to this defining crossroad in our lives, we can at that point say that Christ is ours and we are His, and that all we do for Him can in fact be the kind of worship that He himself lived...

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" Mark 12:30

Once we come to grips that He is right beside us, even now, we can enjoy His power and presence in our lives and, in loving obedience, be transformed to be who He wants us to be.
